‘Lift Club’ New Strength Cycle

Kicking off Monday, April 6, JH CrossFit is launching into its next Mayhem-affiliate strength cycle: “The First Rule of Lift Club.”

This is an 8-week Olympic lifting development cycle running April 6 - May 30, centered on the snatch, clean & jerk, and supporting power lifts.

This cycle is built to help athletes improve barbell mechanics, confidence, and consistency, and is built on a two-week cadence.

Cycle Schedule

Phase 1: Build the Positions

Week 1 — April 6

  • Squat Snatch Complex

  • Power Clean + Jerk

  • Tempo Back Squat

Week 2 — April 13

  • Clean Complex

  • Power Snatch

  • Bench Press

Phase 2: Positional Strength

Week 3 — April 20

  • Snatch + Overhead Squat

  • Power Clean + Jerk Complex

  • Deadstop Deadlift

Week 4 — April 27

  • Clean Complex

  • Power Snatch

  • Back Squat

Phase 3: Confidence Under Load

Week 5 — May 4

  • Full Snatch Doubles

  • Power Clean + Jerk

  • Heavy Bench Triples

Week 6 — May 11

  • Full Clean Doubles

  • Power Snatch Singles

  • Clean Grip Deadlift

Phase 4: Time to Shine

Week 7 — May 18

  • Heavy Snatch Single

  • Power Clean + Jerk

  • Speed Back Squat

Week 8 — May 25

  • Heavy Clean + Jerk

  • Power Snatch

  • Deadlift Doubles
