What to expect
Here are some FAQs for your first visit.
1. What should I wear to my first CrossFit class?
Wear comfortable, athletic clothing and supportive sneakers. Avoid overly loose clothing, as it can get in the way during workouts.
2. Do I need to bring any equipment?
No, you don’t need to bring any equipment. We provide everything you need for the workout. Just bring a water bottle and a towel.
3. I’m not very fit. Can I still do CrossFit?
Absolutely! CrossFit is scalable for all fitness levels. Our coaches will modify exercises to suit your abilities and ensure you get a great workout.
4. What should I expect during my first class?
Expect a warm welcome, a briefing on the workout, a warm-up, and then the workout itself. Coaches will be there to guide you every step of the way.
While you wait, please feel free to place your belongings on the shelf in the athlete area and take a seat on the wooden bench.
Our coach will join you shortly to answer any questions you may have, and explain how our classes work.
5. How long is a typical CrossFit class?
Classes typically last about an hour, including the warm-up, workout, and cool-down.
6. How often should I come to CrossFit classes?
Starting with 2-3 classes per week is a good approach. As you become more comfortable and your fitness improves, you can increase your frequency.
8. Do I need to sign up for classes in advance?
No. Members can sign in on the app once you gain access but it is not required. No matter what time you come there will be room for you.
9. What if I have an injury or medical condition?
Inform your coach before the class starts. They will provide modifications to ensure you can participate safely.
10. Can I bring a friend to try a class with me?
Of course! We encourage bringing friends along. Just make sure they also sign up for a free class.
12. How do I track my progress?
We use an app called "Beyond The Whiteboard" which will be set up for you once you sign up as a member
