New 8-week Strength Cycle

As of last week, JH CrossFit members are now progressing through a new strength training program — Mayhem Surge: Wave Progression.

The next two months of training will be focused on building raw strength and sharpening barbell skills. You’ll hit “wave-style” back squats, deadlifts, Olympic lifts, and targeted accessory work.

Wave-style training uses repeated sets of gradually heavier lifts to build strength, control, and train the nervous system without overtraining.

Each session is under 20 minutes. Programming includes optional skill days and scaling tips for all levels.

We’ll complete the cycle Saturday, Oct. 18.
