June 2026 Newsletter
Hey JH Athletes,
Summer is here. So’s the heat.
Here’s what’s in this month’s update:
Mayhem Challenge
Kids room upgrades
Hot weather advisory
Programming notes & gym updates
More…
Thank You for an Incredible Couple of Weeks
Shout-out to everyone who came out for our 10th-anniversary celebration, and to Murph.
Both events were a great reminder of what makes JH special — people showing up, working hard, supporting each other, and having fun doing it.
Watch for all of the photos to be shared on the JH Members group on Facebook.

June Mayhem Monthly Challenge
We are leaning into the Mayhem Monthly Challenges. June’s will be our first dive-in — and everyone who participates will be entered for a chance to win some free gym swag.
The Challenge: 1,000 burpees
How it works
The challenge is open to JH members
To be eligible for the prize, participants must complete the full challenge without missing any days/workouts
At the end, we’ll draw one random winner from the eligible finishers
Prize
The winner will receive a free hat and T-shirt
How to log it
Results should be logged in Beyond the Whiteboard (BTWB) under the Monthly Challenge tab.
New Programming Cycle Incoming…
We’re at the end of the current strength cycle. A new cycle will launch June 8.
Next week (June 1-5) will serve as a de-load week.
We’ll send out a separate email with full details.
A Few Summer Reminders
The heat and humidity are ramping up. A little awareness goes a long way.
A couple of reminders:
Stay on top of hydration
Clean surfaces & equipment
If it starts raining, close the doors
More of us are in the gym this time of year. We appreciate you keeping this space in great condition.
Kids’ Room Upgrades
We’re continuing to improve the kids’ space at JH for the summer.
So far, we’ve added:
rubber flooring
kids table &
bean bag couch & chairs
We’re also planning to add storage, toys, and finish a few more updates to the room over the next several weeks.
Men’s Bible Study at JH
Micah Clark and Patrick Hardy are now leading a men’s Bible study at JH on Mondays at 5 p.m.
If that sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’d love to have you there.
Built to Move Update
For anyone who may have missed the in-gym update, our Built to Move sessions are coming to an end. We loved hosting this special training the past season and thank you to everyone who took part.
Thanks, as always, for being part of this community.
See you in the gym,
Will
